Which Blanket IS RIGHT FOR MY HORSE?
Discomfort in a horse’s back is not necessarily attributable to insufficient padding but may instead result from excessive padding with rigid materials and ill-fitting saddles. Our blankets feature a thinner profile compared to most pads; however, they are remarkably dense. In fact, this is the first thing people notice upon handling a ThunderCloud—along with their exceptional softness. The tightly looped weave offers excellent shock absorption when paired with a well-fitting saddle.
ThunderCloud Saddle Blankets are offered in a blend of 50% Mohair and 50% New Zealand Wool, as well as 100% Alpaca, both fibers recognized for their therapeutic qualities.
